We are delighted to be sponsoring the Children in Scotland’s Annual Conference, taking place on the 28th and 29th of May at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow!
Over the 2 days, you can expect inspiring keynotes, interactive workshops, and much more! ✨
Our team attending the conference bring a diverse and extensive background in social care management, legal services, youth work, and education, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the field and its challenges. 💙
That’s not all…. not only are we exhibiting at the conference, we’re excited to share that we will also be hosting our very own workshop on Thursday, the 29th of May!
🎙️”Evolving Digital Landscapes: Supporting Children and Young People”
📆 Thursday, 29th of May
⌚ Session 4 (1PM – 2 PM)
📍 Bearsden Suite (upstairs, on the 8th floor)
This workshop offers an in-depth exploration of the rapidly evolving digital landscape, with a particular focus on how emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—and the tri.x Online Procedures Manual can support practitioners in delivering effective, informed services to children and young people.
Grounded in the principles of The Promise, the National Practice Model, and Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC), the session will address key issues such as harmful online content and the nuanced meanings behind emoji use among young people. The workshop will conclude with an engaging quiz to consolidate learning and focusing on statistics, encouraging professional curiosity.
Participants will gain valuable insights into how digital tools can be used responsibly and effectively to enhance practice and safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people in a digitally connected world.
If you are attending the conference and have some free time, we’d love for you to join us. 💙
It’s shaping up to be an excellent few days, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!
