Policy Briefing #5:
New Regulations come into force April 2011: a message for our customers

In April 2011, several new or amended Regulations, Statutory Guidance and Standards are due to come into force which will affect a wide range of policies and procedures in Manuals being hosted and maintained for our customers.

We have already issued Policy Briefings, or we will be doing so, outlining the key requirements of these Regulations/Standards (see Briefings Index).

The Policy Briefings we have published so far are not designed to detail the specific procedures that will need to be amended or implemented. However, we wish to reassure customers that we are taking steps to undertake the necessary amendments to their procedures.
