Policy Briefing #36:
Family and Friends Care: Statutory Guidance for Local Authorities

In April 2011, we issued a Policy Briefing on the new Guidance issued by Government – see link to Briefing below – which requires that all Local Authorities prepare and publish Policy Statements by the 30th September 2011.

We wish to reassure all our Children's Services Procedures Manual customers that we are currently preparing draft Policy Statements for their perusal  and approval – and will be forwarding them in the next week or two; in time/if approved for them to be incorporated into the Manuals by the 30th September 2011.
